Fighting illness

Please continue to cry out to God for Wes, Jackie and Nate. We just found out that Jackie has strep and is now on medication. She is resting at home. She cannot be around Nate while sick especially with Nate's treatment. Wes just provided this update today, "Please continue to cry out. Nate is now hooked up to a feeding tube due to his inability to swallow without it going into his lungs. We do not yet know whether this will be permanent or could get better with chemo. He has become weak in many ways. Apparently the cancer has started to affect more and more functions in his body so he needs the chemo quickly. He is still trying to fight off the pneumonia, hopefully all will be well to start chemo on Monday. Words cannot express the emotions we have been through. Please know that your constant and persistent cries out to God are what we need. It is only through this faithful crying out that we know he will be healed. Please do not give up, we know that we can all can obtain healing and peace from Jesus on this. I appreciate all of the other help, and it definitely means a lot to us, so we want to say a deep heartfelt thanks. Please read Psalm 20 and take heart, God can do anything."

Please read Psalm 20 and call upon God to answer in this time of distress " May the LORD answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you. May he send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion. May he remember all your sacrifices and accept your burnt offerings. May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. We will shout for joy when you are victorious will lift up our banners in the name of our God. May the LORD grant all your requests. Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed; he answers him from his holy heaven with the saving power of his right hand. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm. O LORD, save the king! Answer us when we call!"
