Wes let us know that Nate is at home now. He is on steriods and as long as he doesn't lose consciousness, all radiation will be done outpatient at UT Southwestern Mon-Fri beginning this Friday. Everyone has been so faithful to pray the Lord on behalf of Nate. Let's all continue in prayer asking God for His sustaining help for Nate and the Oxford's". "Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me." Psalm 54:4

  1. I have been praying for Nate for several months now...since being sent an invitation on Facebook to join his group. The pictures of your family are so beautiful, and I am so glad to have a face (a very sweet one!) to put with my prayers. I have personally seen God work miracles when all hope appeared lost, and I pray that today He will do the same for Nate. I pray the doctors will be confounded, and that Nate will arise from the sickness whole and healthy.

  2. Hi - my name is Kaylane Crandall and I am a member at FBCC. I just found out about Nate's situation this morning and wanted to let you know that my family will be lifting you up to God every day. He IS the ultimate healer and it is my heart's desire that Nate will continue to be a walking testimony of His goodness.

    God bless!

  4. Thoughts and prayers to Nate, may he be strong and courageous in this amazing battle. I also send prayers to the big brothers and especially to mom and dad. I pray that you receive the strength you need to help Nate conquer this beast. God be with each and everyone of you.

  6. A warm "Hello" to the Oxford Family! My name is Jean Russell, and I've been praying and following Nate's story since January. Although we have never met, I feel like I know you through Nate's blogs and story. I am a resident at Woodcreek, a teacher at Shannon Elementary, and teach swimming during the summer months. I also good friends with Capt. Johnny Bellows - Garland Fire Dept. When I fwd. Nate's pictures and story to him, he and his shift were DEEPLY MOVED. They would love to have the opportunity to serve your entire family a wonderful dinner at their the Fire Station, take you all for a ride on the fire truck...and in short treat Nate and his brothers "Like KINGS"! Please consider this wonderful opportunity for your family. I believe it will be an experience you will all treasure in years to come.

    Bless you all, Jean
